This example shows a transformation of an icosahedron into a tetrahedron preserving the discrete rotational symmetries of the tetrahedron. (Well, at least as far a I understood it.) A similar transformation is possible between dodecahedron and tetrahedron. (In order to start the animation move the mouse into the picture.)
